Jandamarra

When teachers or lecturers make a group student booking for the Thursday 14 February 11am matinee, students have the opportunity to attend a pre-performance talk and post-show onstage tour. As part of the Monday 18 February 6.30pm show, students have the opportunity to attend a pre-performance talk and a post-show Q&A session.

Schedule

Arrive at venue an hour before the performance commences

Pre performance talk: 30-45 minutes
Performance duration: tbc
Onstage tour/Q&A session: Both run for 30 minutes after the performance

Details

Before seeing the performance, a member of the Creative or Production and Design Team will talk with students, outlining the process involved to produce the play from the page to the stage and working with the cast and crew. After the discussion there will be a performance of Jandamarra.

Students, teachers and lecturers are asked to have questions ready for the pre show talk and the onstage tour and Q&A session. The Q&A session will take place in the auditorium after the show.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

When teachers or lecturers make a group student booking for the Thursday 22 May 11am matinee, students have the opportunity to attend a pre-performance talk and post-show onstage tour. As part of the Tuesday 27 May 6.30pm show, students have the opportunity to attend a pre-performance talk and a post-show Q&A session.

Pre performance talk: 30-45 minutes
Performance duration: tbc
Onstage tour/Q&A session: Time to be advised (runs for 30 minutes after the performance)

Details

Immediately prior to seeing the performance, a member of the Production and Design or creative teams will discuss the process of staging a show. After this talk, students will be taken through to the theatre for a performance of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

After the performance there will be a 5-minute break before students are escorted by the stage manager on a onstage tour. This is a great opportunity for students to meet members of the backstage crew and gain an insight into the decisions made by the designers.
